Match report Massive rain on the way to the ground didnt look good, especially when we saw the covers hadnt been on. Givon the umpire delayed the start by an hour. Harrow did the toss early and elected to bat. By the time we got out there the pitch was drying nicely. Once Antonia Welch got her radar on line, she ripped the heart out of Harrow Town, taking the top 3 wickets for 14 runs. Almost ripped the heart out of Debbie, whose ribs took an excellent caught behind off Antonia. At the other end, Marilyn Smith kept the runs down, 6 overs, 6 maidens. Margaret Page took over from Antonia at the top end, taking 2 for 5 runs, both bowled. Salma Virk held on to a difficult catch at short cover to give Preeti Kate a wicket, and then Preeti had a perfect direct hit from point to run out the next bat. Salma Virk and Edna Moses both bowled well and took the last 3 wickets, 2 to Edna and one to Salma. Carlene Bender, Sarah Baigent all fielded well.
Harrow Town all out for 43 in 23.1 overs.
Marilyn Smith and Katie Davies opened, and took the score to 42 before Marilyn was run out on 14. Katie then scored the winning runs, ending on 29 not out.

We won in 3.4 overs

Excellent performance by the whole team.
