Bilal Ali
Right handed middle order batsman and leg spin bowler (not sure if it spins but I try!). Always fancy a hit as an opener - nothing better than getting stuck in to the oppo bowlers..... Would like to face my own bowling and test how awkward it can be, if at all.... whats all the fuss about!!
Although a British citizen, carrying the flag from LAHORE (all my Sri Lankan friends will know it -joke- :-), capital of Punjab province in Pakistan. Favourite cricketers Mohammed Yousuf, Inzamam-ul-Haq, Wasim Akram and Waqar Younas - Although, would love to be able to bat like Tandulkar (yesssss I am awake!!).
New at the club with aspirations to contribute with bat & bowl to win some silver and learn more about the mechanics of cricket, ultimately hoping to inspire currently 10month old ''Ahad'' to become a future cricket STAR.
Tom Hall
Specialist first slip who is desperate to hold on to the position despite not setting the field any more. Graceful left handed bat whose top order batting, slip fielding and captaincy reminds himself of Stephen Fleming, even if no-one else agrees. Has ensured selection over the last couple of years through consistant availability, high bar spend, captaincy and the occasional run. Bowls extremely underrated leg spin.
Craig Nel
A specialist fielder from South Africa who has been living in London for 10 years and has been playing cricket at Old Actonians since 1999. Please don't ever accuse me of being English though. I play my cricket by the wise words of 'The Duke'. "There is no such thing as a friendly". No matter what stories you hear about me, good or bad, I deny them all.
