Left Hand Batsman, Right Arm Medium Pace/Off Break Bowler. Favourite Food/Drink: Chicken Tikka Masala/Baileys or Vodka Sporting Heroes: Shane Warne, Shane Watson and Matthew Hayden Favourite Cricketing Moments: Maiden Century and selection in Qld U/19s Weird Cricketing Moment: Playing at Uni grounds, 3 buses full of uni students set off for a pub crawl at the start of play and returned in the last session absolutely tanked – we had 5 streakers in the space of half an hour – one of whom stole our bails. To our surprise that bloke was chased and put in a headlock by our umpire who (to our and the streakers surprise) turned out to be a cop.

Bowls a cunning off break that doesn’t turn and knows which end of the bat to hold when required, who has been know to hit it off the square once or twice in his career. He has captained the club in two different spells since joining the club in 1997 from local rivals Brentham. Is found by the bar every evening after the game mainly talking to the opposition because everyone else at the club has heard his stories. A qualified cricket coach who helps with the colts on Sunday mornings. A founding and fully paid up member of the Grumpy Old Men squad.

23 year old, sport-crazy, right-hand, 1st XI supreme opening bat/wicketkeeper/unofficial club physiotherapist/ REIGNING BUTTERWORTH CHAMPION!!!!!!!!!!(That’s right guys suck it). Known as one half of the club dynamic duo The Chuckle Brothers. Also one of Old Actonians prodigal sons having been at the club since the age of 7 and still going strong. Enjoys taking the mickey out of all Australians, with my greatest cricketing memory being sending the Aussies home without that special little urn. A qualified cricket coach who rarely does any coaching and a renowned light-weight who enjoys nothing more than passing out in shop doorways. Ultimately love cricket and the club and everything they bring.

Right handed middle order batsman and leg spin bowler (not sure if it spins but I try!). Always fancy a hit as an opener - nothing better than getting stuck in to the oppo bowlers..... Would like to face my own bowling and test how awkward it can be, if at all.... whats all the fuss about!!

Although a British citizen, carrying the flag from LAHORE (all my Sri Lankan friends will know it -joke- :-), capital of Punjab province in Pakistan. Favourite cricketers Mohammed Yousuf, Inzamam-ul-Haq, Wasim Akram and Waqar Younas - Although, would love to be able to bat like Tandulkar (yesssss I am awake!!).

New at the club with aspirations to contribute with bat & bowl to win some silver and learn more about the mechanics of cricket, ultimately hoping to inspire currently 10month old ''Ahad'' to become a future cricket STAR.

Young 16 year old Right hand bat and bowler (colts only). This is just a theory as i do very little with the bat. main area of expertise lies in sitting on the balconey watching others do the hard work. Most of all ienjoy watching England beat Australia in the ashes (when it happens).
Tom Hall Member profile Tom Hall
Specialist first slip who is desperate to hold on to the position despite not setting the field any more. Graceful left handed bat whose top order batting, slip fielding and captaincy reminds himself of Stephen Fleming, even if no-one else agrees. Has ensured selection over the last couple of years through consistant availability, high bar spend, captaincy and the occasional run. Bowls extremely underrated leg spin.
Craig Nel Member profile Craig Nel
A specialist fielder from South Africa who has been living in London for 10 years and has been playing cricket at Old Actonians since 1999. Please don't ever accuse me of being English though. I play my cricket by the wise words of 'The Duke'. "There is no such thing as a friendly". No matter what stories you hear about me, good or bad, I deny them all.
