Not been the best of weather recently but we are a ‘hardy lot’ and are always optimistic that the warm dry weather will return. Following the success of our first Colts Barbecue the next one will take place on Sunday 30th June straight after training. As always it will be a great way to gather everyone together to celebrate our club, the early season matches and performances.
We will need help with the running the BBQ, as a couple of our normal ‘chefs’ are not available – if you can help with the cooking on the day please let me know. Also, please may we ask parents to contribute a salad, vegetable crudités, and accompaniments such as sweetcorn or a dessert.
England and playing India in the World Cup and also the Ladies have a league game in the afternoon and it would be good to see as many families as possible cheering the side on and/or watching CWC 2019. We look forward to seeing many of you there.
It would be helpful for catering if you would let us know if you are coming by replying to the invite by pressing “Yes, I can attend” and then emailing me with the number in your party and also if you can help with the cooking or provide any accompaniments.
