Actonians Cricket Club - Weekly Reviews - Week 4




1s- visited the high flying Headstone Manor in Harrow. The home side posted 168, in response we looked on course for victory, however some good bowling from the home side rendered us 10 short as we were bowled out for 158. @luke.ajani scored 79

2s- hosted Enfield at HQ. We bowled first with @mccrystalkc taking 4-29. In response we couldn’t quite pull together a partnership to take us to victory falling to defeat by 28 runs

Women’s 2- visited Ealing W1s at Corfton Road for two T-20s. Some good bowling in the first game bowled the home side out for 43, with Selma Brosjo taking 2-0, we were untroubled in response winning by 9 wickets. In the 2nd match we batted first scoring 161-5 with @sarahbaigent_ top scoring with 61, the Ealing response was much improved however some tight bowling and fielding stopped them 44 short

3s- were after a win to kickstart their season. They posted an excellent 238-6 at first digs and despite a great chase by MTSCC they couldn’t quite get over the line as the 3s recorded their first win for 2025.

4s- hosted SKLP 3s at Boddington, who posted 202. Skipper @alislaughts promoted himself to open and he blazed himself to 132 not out hitting 17 fours and 3 sixes as we got home 3 down in with 13 balls remaining.

5s- visited the Chiswick 4s. We batted first scoring 196 with @lewiscoupe97 top scoring with 54. In response Chiswick ran out victors despite @bengrummitt2002 4-41

6s- bowled out Ealing 6s for 93 at NAPF, @singh_amritpal03 and @abhishekbagga28 both taking 3 wickets. We were coasting towards victory in response but some great bowling by their opener who took 7 wickets left us 8 runs short

7s- had their first appearance in 2025, scoring 166 at their turn at bat @brettcorris top scoring with 60. Harrows response struggled to get going and 4 wickets from skipper @kabsxo took us to a 59 run victory

Women’s Club XI- visited Shepherds Bush with the home side scoring 126-8 from their 20 overs. @sade_peters took 3-14 for us. In response Keeley Juster scored 21 however we couldn’t quite manage the runs falling 17 runs short

Club XI- we were beaten by Aussie House on Sunday, but overcome HWR on the Thursday
