Well done to Coutts Cricket clubfor their
51 hour Net Session!

All RCSF supporters were invited to the Kia Oval last weekend to support Coutts Cricket Club taking on the 51 hour cricket net challenge. The fundraising event by Coutts for RCSF saw their batsmen face more than two days at the crease – many thanks to plenty of enthusiastic bowlers to keep them going!

Inspired by Captain Eric’s 51 hour Guinness World Record, players from Coutts startedtheir session on Friday evening, finishing up at 6pm on Sunday. They have so far raised £9,706, which has also been match funded by Coutts Bank taking their total to in excess of £18,000!The money raisedwill go towards the completion of the pavilion at Rwanda’s first cricket ground. Several of the team will fly out to Rwanda in October to play in the opening tournament, as well as carrying out a week of volunteering on local community projects in Kigali.
