John Walker has won the Middlesex Outstanding Service to Cricket Award (OSCA) – Lifetime Achiever recently.
The award is designed to recognise an individual who has made an outstanding difference to their cricket club, league, board or local cricket Community over a significant number of years.
The nomination highlighted that “John has given an amazing 45 years to the running of junior cricket at Actonians…..It is obvious that without his efforts the junior club would not be where it is now and has provided a constant stream of players into the men’s and ladies teams.”
