Robbos Round Up 5/6 September

Clubman of the Week: this week it goes to our Welfare Officer Karen Mahoney. This is for the good work she has done with our Juniors in 2020 especially with the challenges of Covid in a cricket setting! Karen has been involved in our club since the 1990s and is a real asset for us.

Player of the Week: Asad Hussain took his first league five wicket bag for the 4s with his left arm off spin. Unfortunately his figures couldn’t propel the 4s to victory as they fell to defeat by 29 runs.

Team of the Week: the 5s continued on their good form in 2020 with a resounding victory at Hackney Marshes. Scotty Thistlethwaite’s team is a nice mix of Men, Ladies and Junior players, who seem to enjoy each other’s company and most importantly enjoy the game. It is hoped that we will enter a league 5th XI in 2021, numbers permitting.
