SUNDAY 6th SEPTEMBER – ANNUAL JUNIOR FESTIVAL AND SEASON AWARDS
Could you please respond to the invite to indicate if you are available or not for Annual Junior Festival on Sunday 6th September – 9.30am start (need to be on the ground from 9.15am). If you are also attending the BBQ please confirm your numbers and any dietary requirements (clifford.pile@ntlworld.com).
Approximate timetable
9.30am to 12.30pm – Cricket - 2 flicx pitch games and mini-games and competitions for the softball players.
12.30pm to 2.00pm – BBQ (We will need help from parents with the running the BBQ - so the coaches can run the cricket activities. Also, please may we ask if you can contribute a salad, vegetable crudités, and accompaniments such as sweetcorn or a dessert – please let Clifford know if you can help in any way - clifford.pile@ntlworld.com). It would be easier if you could pre-pay prior to the day. Payments on the day can be cash or via a card machine.
2.00pm to 3.00pm – Presentation of Awards - Festival Day and Annual Awards. We are also introducing a Coaches award for each age group this year.
3.00pm to 5.30pm – Juniors v Parents/Coaches/Club match. Juniors side will be selected from Under 13’s and above. Parents if you wish to take part – please let Clifford know prior to the day as we have to organise the game and may not be able to take ‘bookings on the day’.
A considerable amount of planning is required for the day so an early response on your availability would be appreciated.
If you are attending could let me if you are taking part in the festival, how many are coming to the BBQ and also if anyone has any dietary requirements.
Players should be able to update their availability of the club website.
