Actonians Cricket Club - Week 15




1s- South Harrow visited Gunnersbury Drive and posted 170 with Richard Parker picking up 3 wickets. In response it was Marcus Maben who held the innings together with an unbeaten 57, ably supported by new recruit Dilan Reddy & Hugh Young as we got home 6 down.

2s- took on Friends United, we posted 134 at our turn at bat. In response Sahil Sasan took 5-50 however a last wicket partnership rendered them victors by 1 wicket

W2s- hosted local rivals Ealing who scored 154 at their turn at bat, with three run outs recorded. In response captain Sally Cheeseman & Riya Patadia batted beautifully together as they took the team in sight of victory, however with Sally was run out with one ball to go, Katy Robinson stepped up with a clutch 4 to take the team to victory.

3s- took on Harrow Town who scored 304-5 at their turn at bat, in response we fell to some good Town bowling bowled out for 60.

4s- hosted Willow Leather at Bodders. We posted 256-7 with Australian Geoff De Zylva scoring 94 and Max Lovelock with an unbeaten 72. In response the travelling side showed why they are top of the table as they stormed to victory 5 down.

5s- bowled out Wycombe House for 78 at their turn at bat with Sam Jones taking 4-11. In response we limped to victory with Rohit Venkatraman’s unbeaten 17 saving our blushes, 9 down.

6s- took on the unbeaten Indian Gymkhana. We batted first with Chanakya Shah top scoring with 94. In response some great bowling, especially by Abhishek Bagga, took the team to a comfortable victory.

7s- visited Sheen Park who posted 257-9 with Zain Sheikh taking 4-49. In response we faltered losing comfortably

Sun Club XI- visited Penn Street scoring 235-8 from their allocation with Ryan Simpson scoing 52. In response Dilan Reddy took 4-34 however the home team got home in the 2nd last over 5 down.

Sun Club XI- visited Isleworth to take on Wilkinson Way. Our hosts batted first scoring 290 with Roheet Gupta taking 4-74. In response Chanayka Shah carried on his good form from Saturday scoring 126 as we chased the runs in the final few overs 5 down.
