Actonians Cricket Club - Week 17



1s- hosted Alexandra Park and we batted first posting 186 from our allocation. In response we were on course for victory, however an excellent 8th wicket partnership rendered AP an unlikely victory with Hugh Young picking up 3 wickets

W1s- hosted Gunnersbury 2s in two T-20s to finish off their season. In the first match we bowled out the opposition for 68 with Gio Tyrer picking up 3-3, we negotiated the score comfortably losing just the 1 wicket. In the second match we posted 162-3 with Eva Solt picking up 54, the Gunns at their turn at bat fell well short with the W1s eventually winning by 87 runs.

2s- visited SKLP scoring 148, with Chanakya Shah scoring 42. In response the hosts raised to victory 2 wickets down

3s- visited Winchmore Hill, scoring 216-8 from their 45 overs. Mayuresh Mane top scored with 47. Hill offered up little resistance at their turn only managing 45 in response

4s- hosted Shepherds Bush who rolled our boys for 73. In response they lost 4 wickets on their way to victory

5s- took on Brentham. We bowled out the Trees for 143, with Ben Richmond taking 3 wickets. In response we were 120-4 when the heavens opened, ahead on Duckworth/ Lewis so took the win. Lewis Coupe top scored with 60 not out.

6s- Ealing Trailfinders batted first scoring 292-7 with Rahul Mall Patel picking up 4 wickets. In response we were 43-2 when the heavens opened, the match ending as a draw

Sun Club XI- visited Berkshire to take on Boyne Hill. Our hosts batted first scoring 126, in response we negotiated the required runs- 4 down.
