Actonians Cricket Club - Week 13




1s- hosted Headstone Manor. We batted first compiling 211 with 4 batsmen going past 25. In response it was the Paul Maddock show as he took 8-19 as Manor were bowled out for 70 (8th out of 10)

Women’s 1s- visited Shepherds Cot to take on North Hill. We fell to 56 all out, in response we took a couple of wickets but North Hill finished comfortable victors (3rd out of 4)

2s- visited Enfield where we batted first scoring 248-7 declared with Lewis Lambert top scoring with an unbeaten 55. In response Enfield got through to 130-9 as we could not quite get the last wicket. Sahil Sasan took 4 wickets. (6th out of 10)

Women’s 2s- bye week. (4th out of 6)

3s- hosted MTSSC in a must win match for both teams. We posted 157 with Harry Low scoring 56. MTSSSC fought hard however could only manage 105 with Tom Wellman picking up 4-30 (9th out of 10)

4s- visited SKLPC 3s who posted 200-7, Dom Horne picking up 3 wickets. In response we scored 120 with only Ryan Simpson, shining bright with 54 (5th out of 10)

5s- took on the Chiswick 4s. We posted 185-6, with Daniel McCarthy top scoring with an unbeaten 46 and Sandeep Singh with 41. In response Chiswick batted well as they eclipsed our target with 10 overs remaining, 2 down. (6th out of 9)

6s- posted 242 batting first against the Ealing 6s. Sakif Chowdhury was again in the runs with 40, with Max Worrall scored 42 not out batting at 9. In response Ealing failed to mount any credible response as Rohan Panchal took 4 wickets and Amrit Mongia 3. (4th out of 10)

7s- took on the Twickenham Time Team who batted first scoring 320, Ed Cunnington picked up 3 wickets for us. In response we couldn’t get anything going as we fell to 120 all out (Top of the Non League)

Sun Club XI- took on Chalfont St Peter’s who scored 184 batting first. Neel Sanital took 4-32 with his off spin. Our batting got off to a flier with Luke Ajani scoring 50, however later faltered but in the end we managed to get home with 1 wicket in the locker
