Team of the Week: the newly formed Development XI (Under 21s) played their first league match for the season and convincingly beat Chiswick CC by 104 runs.
This team will play Chiswick CC, Chiswick & Whitton CC and Barnes CC over the next 5 weeks home and away and the winner of this group will get a place in the quarter finals of the 31 team Middlesex Development League. The bowling attack especially looks dangerous with the seam, swing and bounce of Ramon Bailey and Rezaul Chowdhury along with the trio of leg spinners Ryan Smith, Aman Dhaliwal & Tim Wallace. This week they take on last years quarter finalists Barnes CC at home and it would be fantastic to see a big crowd down at the club to support the boys.
Pizza X Drink Player of the Week: Nathan Mehaffy is this weeks POW. The new captain of the 3s has really stepped up on and off the field this season and took 4-40 for his team in their losing draw with Bessborough CC.
