Match report The VC was absent for this one topping up the tan in Valencia so luckily I was not able to witness any of the disasters that occurred. I missed the Brexit vote, the 3s gritty display v Southgate, the England team crashing out of the Euros and my flight home! When I say missed the flight it was actually EasyJet cancelling it allegedly because of the French air traffic controllers strike. It turns out that it was all a plot by Boris Johnson to stop me returning to Blighty to sort all the mess out. Have no fear though because I did make it back a day later than planned with a "Planes, Trains and Automobiles" trip home via Alicante. Here is how I intend to return the club and country to it's former glory:

1/ I'm available for the Perivale game!
2/ Rather than have a 2nd referendum I have arranged for Nathan to toss a coin, best of 3, with the Leave result upheld if he wins......
3/ Have talks with the FA with my ideas on the best way forward. Boris is itching to lead his country and if he can convince millions to vote leave then he can surely convince our footballers they can beat a team like Iceland!I will also be asking why Richard Parker was not in the squad as no one can kick a helmet further.
4/ Suggest Jeremy Corbyn implements his own "d*** of the day" vote in his shadow cabinet. He will then be able to claim he still has their backing!

So there you have it. A 10 wicket loss but an upbeat report!
