Match report It's always an exciting prospect, playing the local derby against Ealing CC. Actonians won the toss and chose to field.

Hannah opened the batting dismissing the Ealing captain with her fourth ball. Ealing 4-1 off 1 over. Ealing steadied themselves and went on to finish their innings at 96 all out from 15 overs. 5 of the 6 Actonians bowlers took wickets with Freya and Alice both taking two. Special shout out to Ava Gardiner who was playing her debut hardball match for Actonians, as wicket keeper and played brilliantly allowing Ealing only 9 byes. However, with 40% of the runs coming from extra's, that gives Actonians plenty to work on.

Sienna and Freya opened the batting steadily but the run rate was falling and the overs were ticking by. Two quick wickets from Ealing and it wasn't looking promising although it did allow for fresh batters. Excellent partnering and running from all the incoming batters during the overs that followed allowed Hannah to score her all time high of 39 runs not out, including eight 4's. Again, Ava showed her potential. As the last batter, getting her bat on the ball, scoring her own 4 and partnering brilliantly with Hannah to take Actonians over the line to a win in the 15th over.
