Match report Givon Christian continued his fine start to the season with a forceful 163 (18 fours and 7 sixes) in the friendly game against Braywood on Sunday. Batting first Old Actonians scored 259 for 6 wickets in their 40 overs. Nawroz Arghandabi supported Givon well in scoring 54 in a partnership of 171 as the home side took advantage of some loose bowling. In reply Braywood never really got going and with steady contributions with the ball from Shaiq Qamar (2 for 12) and Bob Coutts (3 for 40) the home side ran out easy winners. The highlight of the Old Actonians fielding display was a spectacular run out by Givon Christian as the tailenders tried to take a "cheeky single to him" towards the end of the game.
